Yashodhara Hemchandra,
a self taught Artist, Writer, Pet stylist, Pet behavioral Consultant and a
Professional Dog Breeder hails from a family of animal lovers. From her
childhood days, her dream was to have a career related to animals. This soon
became a reality. She is devoted to caring and sheltering abandoned and injured
stray animals, apart from housing some of India’s finest Show dogs.

 Her Kennels, YASHBANS,
“YASH” derived partly from her name YASHODHARA and “BANS” from the city
BANGALORE , which gave shape to her childhood aspirations and dreams, is today
one of India’s most reputed kennels. She has bred and specialized in
Dobermanns, German Shepherds, Rottweilers, Boxers, St. Bernards, Siberian
Huskies, Golden Retrievers, Chow Chows, Shih Tzus and Miniature Pinschers over
the last three decades. She has bred, owned and handled over 100 champions till
date, including innumerable Best In Show and line up Winners. She has imported
dogs from some of the finest kennels across the world to incorporate in her
breeding programs. She is the only woman in India who has had the privilege of
winning some coveted awards like “BREEDER OF THE YEAR”, “DOG OF THE YEAR”,
“RESERVE DOG OF THE YEAR” etc. She has also a proud Breeder of two “DOG OF THE
YEARS’ B.I. and one "Reserve Puppy of the Year".

 Yashodhara is a keen
entrepreneur, and has set up India’s first ever Professional Pet Grooming
Parlour and Spa, a Pet Grooming School, and a specialized Pet Logistics Company
under the banner of “ FUZZY WUZZY.” She is the proud mother of two young
daughters, Rishya and Radhiya, who share her love for pets.
