Kim has owned and bred Labrador Retrievers under the "Guntreva" prefix for over
25 years.
During this time many of her dogs have been multiple Best in Show winners at All
breeds and Specialty shows. She has also owned exhibited American Cocker
Spaniels, Golden Retrievers, Welsh Corgi (Pembroke) and Lhasa Apsos.
Kim gained her Gundog Championship judging license in 1997. She is now an All
Breeds judge. Since gaining her licenses she has judged extensively throughout
Australia and New Zealand for many Gundog and All Breed Clubs. For the past
three years, Kim has been the coordinator for the training of Gundog judges run
by the Canine Control Council of Queensland.
She is also the Secretary and Show Secretary for the Library and Archives
Committee which is a subcommittee of the CCCQ and a member and past
Secretary for the Labrador Retriever Club of Queensland.
